About Lost Vegas Tours

Before the mega-resorts, Las Vegas was a small desert town with a handful of glamorous casinos, and a few entertainers made it the most famous nightlife destination in the world. Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack packed the Sands. Elvis Presley made the International Hotel his Las Vegas home from 1969 to 1976. Liberace brought the sequins.

Most of that Las Vegas is gone. The Dunes was imploded in 1993, the Sands in 1996 and the Stardust in 2007. What remains is scattered across the city, and the stories behind it are easy to miss from a hotel window on the Strip.

Lost Vegas Tours puts it back together. Our first tour, The Kings of Vegas Tour, is a storytelling tour of the Las Vegas of Sinatra and Elvis. You drive past the homes of the rich and powerful of the 1960s and '70s — the stars, Howard Hughes, the casino and company bosses, even the mobsters; some are gone, some still stand — and it ends the way a night in classic Vegas should: in a showroom. Every ticket includes a general-admission seat at a live tribute show at The Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park Resort — All Shook Up, the Elvis tribute, after the 3:00 PM tour, or Sinatra Live! after the 5:00 PM tour.

Lost Vegas Tours is operated in partnership with Ameri-Trip, which also runs the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Antelope Canyon and Zion day trips listed on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Kings of Vegas Tour?
A guided tour of classic Las Vegas — the city of Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack and Elvis Presley — that ends with a general-admission seat at a live tribute show at The Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park Resort. The 3:00 PM tour ends at All Shook Up, the Elvis tribute; the 5:00 PM tour ends at Sinatra Live!
Does the tour go past celebrity and mob homes?
Yes. The Kings of Vegas Tour drives past the homes of the rich and powerful of 1960s and '70s Las Vegas — the stars, Howard Hughes, the executives who ran the big casinos and companies, even the mobsters — while your guide tells their stories. Some of the homes are gone; some still stand.
How much does the Kings of Vegas Tour cost?
$129.95 per person, all-in. That covers the tour and your general-admission show seat, with no service or order fees added at checkout.
Where does the tour start, and is hotel pickup included?
The tour starts and ends at Alexis Park Resort, 375 E Harmon Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169, just east of the Strip. Hotel pickup is not included — guests make their own way to and from Alexis Park Resort.
How long is the Kings of Vegas Tour?
About 2 hours 45 minutes. The 3:00 PM tour returns to Alexis Park Resort by 5:45 PM, and the 5:00 PM tour returns by 7:45 PM — in time for your show.
How big is the group?
Small. The Kings of Vegas Tour is a small-group tour, not a big coach tour.
Is there a Las Vegas mob tour?
Lost Vegas Tours is building the Mob & Mayhem Tour, a history tour of organized crime in Las Vegas. It is coming soon — The Kings of Vegas Tour is booking now.
Who was the Rat Pack?
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. Their shows together in the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel in the early 1960s defined classic Las Vegas entertainment.
Where did Elvis perform in Las Vegas?
Elvis Presley first played Las Vegas at the New Frontier in 1956. His famous residency ran from 1969 to 1976 at the International Hotel, later the Las Vegas Hilton and today the Westgate Las Vegas.
What happened to the old Las Vegas casinos?
Many of the most famous were imploded to make way for new resorts: the Dunes in 1993, the Sands and the Hacienda in 1996, and the Stardust in 2007.
What other tours can I book from Las Vegas?
Full-day trips to Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, and Zion National Park, operated by our partner Ameri-Trip. They are listed on this page.
